Exclusive | Bathing suits are fall’s favorite fashion, thanks to Rihanna and Angelina Jolie: ‘They’re here to stay’

From the shower to the show, A-listers are being given bathrobes.

At the intersection of comfort and fashion are the overcoats, rising as the hottest clothing of the cold season thanks to Kylie Jenner, Rihanna and Angelina Jolie.

“Women just want to be comfortable this fall,” Upper East Side designer Jamie Lewis tells The Post of the buzzing “bathrobe dress” trend. “It’s all about being comfortable, sexy, showing some skin and feeling good.”

And it’s hard to feel anything less than the best while you’re wrapped in fluffy ornaments.

Fashion’s turn to swimwear comes as voracious fashionistas in NYC and beyond relax deeper into post-pandemic oblivion.

Since the dark days of quarantine, when most people wore oversized sweats and plush loungewear all the time, tastemakers have expertly married luxury and leisure to create perfect aprés-lockdown looks.

Stylish attendees at last month’s New York Fashion Week wowed in baggy shorts à la Adam Sandler, 58, whose distinctive schlub style earned him style icon status throughout the global health crisis.

And the cool kids of Gen Z have recently anointed “sweatpants”—soft cotton bottoms known to millennials as “jeggings”—the saviors of faux denim fashion.

But it was Jenner, 27, the de facto leader of the generation, who put swimwear on the map when she wore a black, velvet one-piece during Paris Fashion Week in January.

Mogul Khy strolled through the City of Light in Christian Louboutin pumps with her dress cinched at the waist and her sleeves hanging off her shoulders, giving onlookers a matching bra.

Not to be outdone, along came French actress Isabelle Huppert, 71, who turned heads in a custom Balenciaga dress at the Cannes Film Festival in May, proving that swimwear isn’t just for people in their 20s. theirs.

Rihanna, 36, also rocked the comfy style, stepping out in a pale yellow number by Jacquemus to celebrate the launch of Fenty Hair during London Fashion Week last month.

Jolie, 49, is the latest luminary to rock a cape while on stage. The Oscar winner stopped traffic in Manhattan on Tuesday wearing a plunging black wrap while promoting her new film, “Maria,” at the New York Film Festival.

But Marley Tipper, 24, a young model from Los Angeles, told The Post of her love for fur because the dresses weren’t influenced by Jenner, RiRi or Jolie. Instead, she said the “lazy” look just speaks to her wild style.

“I love the clothes and how the clothes shape me while being so comfortable,” said Tipper, who adapted to avant-garde clothing in June. She teamed a white crop top with matching heels and shared visuals of the stunning dress with her over 40,000 TikTok followers.

“My personal style is very eclectic,” the brunette added. “So mixing something that’s considered ‘lazy’ with a pair of stiletto pumps and a cute scarf is very familiar to me.”

And Lewis, a designer-turned-brand ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue, said any glamor girl could use the fuzzy fun, too.

“The bathing suit is for everyone,” she said. “It’s here to stay.”

• Accessorize with cool heels or biker boots
• Avoid black or white clothing this fall. Instead, look for charcoal gray, chocolate brown or blood red.
